  • ½ cup Hershey's Special Dark cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese (at room temperature)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until soft, then add sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and orange food coloring. Mix until creamy.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking dish and spread evenly. Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top and layer with remaining brownie batter.
  6. Swirl the mixtures gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
