  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

  • ¾ cup mini chocolate chips (divided)

  2. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl and let it cool slightly.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar, then add egg, mashed bananas, and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  5. Gradually fold in dry ingredients followed by half the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
