  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 ½ tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Season both sides of the beef chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, honey, warm water, additional salt, apple cider vinegar, and cayenne pepper to create the honey garlic sauce.
  3. Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat and add vegetable oil along with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
  4. Place seasoned beef chops in the skillet; cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Push the chops to one side, add remaining melted butter, sauté garlic briefly, then pour in the honey garlic sauce and cook until thickened.
  6. Spoon sauce over the cooked beef chops; garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.
