  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 33 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup blackberry filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the blackberry filling by cooking blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and warm water in a saucepan until thickened. Let cool.
  2. Activate the yeast by mixing it with warm water and sugar; allow it to foam for about 5-10 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, Greek yogurt, egg, salt, and the activated yeast mixture. Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise covered until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon, then add cooled blackberry filling.
  6. Roll tightly into a log and slice into even pieces. Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again (about 30 minutes).
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Prepare cream cheese frosting by beating together cream cheese, softened butter, corn syrup, vanilla, salt, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Drizzle frosting over slightly cooled rolls before serving.
